The hitch receiver seem fine - well made, holes aligned, etc. - but has not been tested yet. The instructional videos didn't quite cover the specifics for my car (2024 Camry Hybrid) but that's not a problem with the hitch and I was able to get it to work after moving some things around. My issue is that the parts pack was missing two critical components - one 1/2 nut and one of the M8 bolts, all Grade 8 so harder to find and I didn't discover they were missing until everything was disassembled and on the ground taking much longer to install than expected.
The box had 3 holes in one side. At first I thought they were caused by a fork lift,
however after opening the box I could see that the back of the receiver and the (2) corners of the rear mounts had poked through the box. The entire unit was mount in a sling near the bottom of the box, but the top of the box had no packing material of any type. The areas that poked through the side of the box had been scraped and the powder coating was ground off. The Curt advertisement states thet the finish has an extra layer of protective coating to assist with rust protection, however the one I received had (3) areas where the finish had been worn off. I have pictures showing the Box damage ant the hitch damage.
A nice trailer hitch. It was fairly straighforward to install although the photos of where to trim the under body panel weren't very clear so I had to do some trial and error to get it trimmed so that it would fit properly. I also needed to trim the bottom edge of the bumper cover a little bit too. So with the extra test fitting and trimming it took longer than I anticipated. It looks great and I like the way it is hidden up behind the bumper cover. The only part that is visible is the receiver. Overall I'm pleased with it. The only thing that could have been better were the instructions.
I have not been able to install the hitch yet. My other can has been on jacks in the garage. I should be test fitting it next week. I hope it fits as I was told it would.
Nice hitch I use it for bike racks still looks good after a year mounted on a 2023 Camry XSE which sits low. I’ve only scraped it once when I was going up the steep incline in the Pittsburgh area.

Working out well Great for hauling bikes
Arrived quickly and wasn't too hard to install, following the excellent video. I haven't had a change to use it yet, but I am impressed with the quality so far. Just a tip: don't mix up the carriage bolts with the hex bolts that may have come with it. That mistake cost me a couple of hours and a lot of frustration.
I’m so glad I found you all online through Google search. I was able to easily find the type hitch I needed for my Camry. You all had quick service and delivery. Great price with fast shipping, fits great with minimalist look. Install videos were very helpful and doable at home with hand tools.
I've had this hitch on my 2024 Camry for a year and love it! It looks like it came installed from the factory.
The only downside is that this install did not go as smoothly as expected based on the video. More cutting of the skid plate was required, although this wasn't a huge deal - just inconvenient.
The biggest holdup during install was widening the frame holes. Make sure you buy quality step bits for this!

Hitch fit very well, easy to install. No need to cut the muffler heat shield per directions. Just get a witness mark by pushing heat shield up into place and punch out area where the mounting bolt hits. Only negative input regarding directions is the crude diagram for cutting out the cover panel. Probably could have been a bit better. Great product
Bought a Curt 1 1/4" hitch and put it on this afternoon, I wanted to compliment etrailer.com for their wonderful customer service. They actually had a knowledgeable fellow (Drew) manning the phone on a Sunday afternoon, he walked me right through the solution to my question. The instructions were a bit wonky IMO but Drew referenced me to a video on their website and it all went on fine.
Fits our 2021 Camry LE Hybrid perfectly. Had the Receiver installed by a professional. Using for a bike rack.

Delivery of the Trailer Hitch was on time as expected. Installation was completed at a recommended local Service Station recommended by etrailer. Time elapsed for install was just a little more than what etrailer estimated, but I was thoroughly professional and complete. In all, it took 2,5 hrs to finish bstall both the trailer hitch and the wire harness.
The harness was tested and all was okay! Very pleased with the entire process!
Amazing snug fit! I’ve installed plenty of hitches over the years. This one wins for hiding up in the bodywork nicely! Took me a solid 2 plus hours, mainly due to taking my time trimming and deciphering instructions between US and Japan made cars. Instructions could be a bit more clear. US made cars don’t use largest bolts.
Very easy to install as long as you follow directions and I would recommend using a step bit to enlarge the holes. Product looks great when attached. Using for a bike rack.
Received it with some delay because of covid 19 . Did receive it quickly once e trailer got some in. Very good response by e trailer. Got it installed. Will use to haul bikes to trails.
I have had the good fortune of purchasing four of these over the years and they’ve all worked exceptionally well. Good quality, good durability, but I have to say not easy to put on. if you haven’t done it before get some help you will need a lift a heavy duty drill and the patience of a saint. Moving the mufflers and tailpipes out of the way and making sure that you cut the heat shields properly plan on 4 to 6 hours with help to remove the plastic shields, cut the heat shields as described in the instructions lower the mufflers drill the holes in the frame reverse all the procedures after securely mounting the new hitch

Trailer is sturdy and fit in place easily. Installation can be done by the owner and isn't that hard if you have the right tools for the job. The only drawback is the instructions were not as helpful specifically in seeing the trimming of the black, plastic spare tire cover. It was difficult to make out how to trim this piece. The buffer heat shields were straight forward. I highly recommend the YouTube video instruction on installation.

Product Review:
I use this hitch on my 2020 Camry SE Hybrid to hold a platform style bike rack. The installation was a bit challenging without an extra set of hands. However, with the help of a couple of appropriate length 2x4's used as supports, I was able to manage. The grinding of the frame holes to make them large enough to insert the flat nuts was one of the more time consuming steps to the installation process. I used grinding bits in my electric drill and it took forever :(. Once complete, the hitch is very solid and I LOVE how it is nearly completely hidden by the bumper. The only aspect of this hitch that I don't like (which isn't unique to this hitch) is that it is too much work to remove it for the winter and keep it away from the road salt of Wisconsin.

After a year of use, this hitch is still rock solid! It just went through its first salty Wisconsin winter. Only a small portion of the hitch is exposed to the elements and, so far, it isnt rusty.
Shipped quickly and received on time.
I am so glad I decided to do this. I am a novice and it took my a little longer to install it but I had no issues. It is very sturdy and stable. This allowed me to install a lockable bike rack for mountain biking trips. I have been using this for 2 months now on 7 or 8 mountain bike outings and this hitch is solid. Great purchase. Well worth it.

I have used this bike rack nearly every week for the past year for a weekend mountain bike outing. No complaints. It is still solid and stable. I have honestly only used the locking feature a few times but it was good to have it when I needed it.
